Pink & Green Phantom Cubic Fluorite with Muscovite - Fine Mineral Specimen (UV Reactive)
Description
This striking fluorite specimen features rare soft pink fluorite with pale green fluorite phantoms perched atop a layered muscovite matrix. Along with the pink phantom fluorite, green cubic fluorite also appears nestled atop the matrix. The contrast between the translucent, cubic fluorite and the champagne-silver, bladed muscovite creates a beautifully textured composition with strong visual depth. Under shortwave ultraviolet light, the green fluorite and phantoms fluoresce a vivid electric blue-green, dramatically transforming the specimen and revealing an entirely different character. This dual-presentation quality makes it especially appealing to collectors who value both aesthetics and fluorescence.
Dimensions & Weight
• 3" × 1.75" × 1.25"
• 166g
Locality: Hunza Valley, Gilgit District, Pakistan (see videos in fb group for proof of ethical sourcing)
Metaphysical Properties
Fluorite is often associated with clarity, focus, and mental organization, while muscovite is thought to encourage insight and reflective awareness. Together, they are favored by those who appreciate stones that symbolically bridge intellect and intuition.
Collector’s Notes
Pink cubic fluorite is already extremely rare. The inclusion of green fluorite phantoms makes this an exceptional find. The phantoms are pale and best seen under short wave UV light (as pictured.) Fluorite with muscovite is a classic and highly collectible association, particularly when distinct color zoning and UV fluorescence are present. The well-defined crystal faces and balanced matrix make this specimen a strong display piece. UV-reactive fluorite continues to see rising demand among serious collectors due to its dramatic visual impact under multiple lighting conditions.
Highlights
• Extremely Rare Pink fluorite with green fluorite phantoms.
• Well-developed muscovite matrix
• Strong UV fluorescence
• Excellent contrast of color, form, and luster
• Collector-grade cabinet specimen
Mineralogy
• Fluorite – Calcium fluoride (CaF₂)
• Muscovite – Potassium aluminum mica
• Crystal system: Isometric (fluorite), Monoclinic (muscovite)
