This spectacular color-changing fluorite is from the Diana Maria Mine in England. It is UV reactive, making it change colors in the sunlight. This piece shifts from green to blue. The pictures were taken both in and out of sunlight, so you can see the difference.
Color-changing fluorite is incredibly rare and will become increasingly more difficult to find, as the Diana Maria mine is believed to be mined out. There are other locations that’s produce color-changing fluorite, but little is know about how much is available or even able to be mined at all.
